First and foremost, I want to wish you a very happy holiday and prosperous New Year. I truly appreciate your business and look forward to continued success in the future with each one of my clients! It is the privilege of my professional career (and hell, life) to be entrusted with executing marketing campaigns for my customers — I absolutely live and breathe to make sure that my clients are successful!

Most of you have noticed by now, but I have officially branded my company as District Maven Marketing & Creative. I have also changed business classes, becoming an LLC instead of an Independent Contractor (also previously known as The Herman Bordeau Agency). The change in business status will result in a few changes for your customer account. In an effort to keep clients in the loop, below you will find some questions and answers that should address all changes for 2017 and beyond.

When do these changes go into effect?

Officially, the name and business change will go into effect on January 1, 2017. After that point, all official correspondence will be done on behalf of that business name.

Does this change my scope of work?

Absolutely not! In forming an LLC, all marketing client work will simply be streamlined under the District Maven name. Nothing about your contractual agreement or scope of work will change — just who you make your monthly payments out to!

Who do I issue payments to?

Starting January 1, 2017, all payments are to be issued to District Maven Marketing & Creative instead of me directly.

PLEASE NOTE: Payments made after Jan. 1, 2017 for invoices issued prior to Dec. 31, 2016 will still be issued to Leigh Genetti. This change only impacts payments made in response to invoices issued to the client after Jan. 1, 2017.

Where do I send payments?

Starting January 1, 2017, all payments are to be sent to the following address:

Are you still mobile?

Yes, of course. I have no issue traveling to the client’s location, when necessary. Clients also have the option of meeting at the District Maven offices, located across the street from the Clarendon Metro Station in Arlington, Virginia.

The only time in which my flexibility and mobility might be compromised is during the week of January 16-20, 2017 as I will be undergoing back surgery.

Who is my point of contact while you’re away?

Due to back surgery, my responsiveness will be compromised from January 16-20, 2017. My intention is to have all client work organized, to be completed on time as originally outlined. Therefore, for any non-emergency questions or concerns, please email me and I will respond as soon as I am able.

For emergencies that cannot wait, please contact my assistant Ana at ana@districtmaven.com and she will assist you as best as possible.
